Terms of service
Last updated: 29 August 2026
Welcome to Easy Trolley. These Terms of Service apply to your use of easytrolley.co.uk and to purchases made through our online store.
The terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Easy Trolley, operated by Aleesha Haider. Our store is powered by Shopify, which provides the ecommerce platform used to offer our products and services.
These Terms explain your rights and responsibilities when using our website and purchasing from us. They have been adapted from the sample Terms of Service you provided.
Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law.
1. Access and Account
You may browse our website and purchase products subject to these Terms.
When placing an order or creating an account, you agree to provide accurate, complete and current information, including your contact, billing, payment and delivery details.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for activity carried out through your account.
2. Our Products
We make reasonable efforts to describe and display our products accurately.
Product colours and appearance may vary slightly depending on your screen, device settings, lighting and photography.
Product descriptions, availability and specifications may be updated from time to time.
Nothing in these Terms limits your legal rights where goods are faulty, not as described, or not fit for purpose. UK consumers have statutory rights requiring goods to be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described.
3. Orders
When you place an order through our website, you are making an offer to purchase the products in your order.
We may accept or decline an order where there is a legitimate reason to do so, including where a product is unavailable, payment cannot be authorised, the price or product information contains an obvious error, or we reasonably suspect fraudulent activity.
Your order is accepted when we send you confirmation that the order has been accepted or dispatched, depending on the checkout process used by our store.
Please check your order carefully before submitting it.
If we cannot accept your order after payment has been taken, we will arrange an appropriate refund.
Your rights to cancel or return an order are set out in our Refund and Returns Policy and applicable UK consumer law.
4. Prices and Payment
Prices displayed on our website are shown in British pounds sterling (GBP) unless otherwise stated.
The price charged will be the price displayed when your order is placed, subject to correction of obvious pricing errors.
Any applicable delivery charges will be displayed before you complete your order.
Where taxes are applicable to your purchase, they will be handled in accordance with applicable law.
You agree to provide accurate and authorised payment information when making a purchase.
UK online sellers are required to make the total price, payment requirements and delivery costs clear before a customer places an order.
5. Shipping and Delivery
Delivery options, estimated delivery times and applicable shipping charges will be provided on our website or during checkout.
Delivery times are estimates unless we expressly agree to a specific delivery date.
We will make reasonable efforts to deliver your order within the stated timeframe.
Under UK distance-selling rules, goods should normally be delivered within 30 days unless a different delivery period has been agreed with the customer.
We are not responsible for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control, but this does not remove any rights you may have under applicable consumer law.
Risk in the goods passes to you when the goods are delivered to you or to a person you have identified to receive them.
6. Cancellations, Returns and Refunds
Your rights to cancel, return or obtain a refund are explained in our Refund and Returns Policy.
For most goods purchased online, UK consumers generally have the right to notify the seller that they wish to cancel within 14 days after receiving the goods, subject to legal exceptions.
After notifying us of cancellation, customers generally have a further 14 days to return the goods. Refunds are generally due within 14 days after the returned goods are received.
These rights are separate from your legal rights if an item is faulty, damaged, not as described or otherwise does not meet applicable consumer-law requirements.
7. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, the content available through easytrolley.co.uk, including our branding, website text, graphics, layout and original materials, is owned by or licensed to Easy Trolley.
You may use our website for personal and lawful purposes.
You must not copy, reproduce, distribute, republish or commercially exploit our protected website content without permission, except where permitted by law.
Third-party trademarks, logos and materials remain the property of their respective owners.
8. Third-Party Tools and Services
Our website may provide access to tools, payment services or functionality supplied by third parties.
Your use of third-party services may also be governed by the terms and privacy policies of those providers.
We are not responsible for third-party services beyond the extent required by applicable law.
9. Third-Party Links
Our website may contain links to websites operated by third parties.
We are not responsible for the content, availability, privacy practices or security of third-party websites.
You should review the applicable terms and policies of any third-party website you choose to visit.
10. Shopify
Our online store is powered by Shopify.
Shopify provides the ecommerce technology used to operate our website and checkout.
Purchases made from Easy Trolley are transactions between you and Easy Trolley. Shopify is a technology provider and is not the seller of our products.
The sample Terms similarly distinguish the merchant from Shopify as the platform provider.
11. Privacy
Our collection and processing of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy.
Because our website is hosted through Shopify, certain personal information may also be processed by Shopify and other providers involved in operating our store.
Please review our Privacy Policy for more information about how personal information is collected, used and protected.
12. Reviews, Feedback and User Content
If you submit a review, comment, suggestion or other content to us, you confirm that you have the right to provide that content and that it does not infringe the rights of another person or break the law.
You must not submit content that is false, misleading, defamatory, abusive, unlawful, infringing or malicious.
Where permitted by law, you grant us permission to use reviews or feedback submitted to our store for purposes connected with operating, improving and promoting our business.
We may remove content that violates these Terms or applicable law.
13. Errors and Inaccuracies
Occasionally our website may contain typographical errors, incorrect prices, inaccurate product descriptions, availability errors or other mistakes.
We may correct genuine errors and update website information when necessary.
If an error affects an order you have already placed, we will contact you where appropriate and deal with the order in accordance with applicable law.
14. Prohibited Uses
You must not use our website for unlawful, fraudulent or malicious purposes; interfere with the website's operation or security; introduce viruses or harmful code; attempt unauthorised access; scrape or harvest personal information unlawfully; impersonate another person; infringe intellectual property rights; or use the website to distribute spam or misleading content.
We may restrict or suspend access where we reasonably believe these Terms or applicable laws have been violated.
15. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to our website or an account where there is a legitimate reason, including suspected fraud, unlawful use, security threats or serious breaches of these Terms.
Termination does not affect rights or obligations that arose before termination.
16. Consumer Rights and Warranties
Products sold by Easy Trolley are subject to the rights and protections provided by applicable UK consumer law.
We do not exclude or restrict rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
In particular, these Terms do not remove your rights concerning goods that are faulty, unsafe, not of satisfactory quality, not fit for purpose or not as described.
The sample policy included broad warranty disclaimers. For a UK consumer-facing store, I have not copied those blanket exclusions because UK businesses cannot use contract terms to avoid responsibility for faulty goods, goods that are not as described, personal injury caused by negligence, or other rights that cannot legally be excluded.
17. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or liability that cannot legally be excluded under UK consumer law.
Subject to those protections, we are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was made or for losses arising from use of our products for business purposes where you purchased them as a consumer.
Any limitation in these Terms applies only to the extent permitted by law.
18. Events Outside Our Control
We will not be responsible for failure or delay in performing obligations caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Examples may include disruption to transport networks, carrier delays, natural disasters, strikes, government action, major technical failures or other events we could not reasonably prevent.
Where such an event affects your order, we will take reasonable steps to minimise disruption and communicate with you where appropriate.
19. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful or unenforceable, that provision will be treated as removed or limited to the minimum extent necessary.
The remaining provisions will continue to apply.
20. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Refund and Returns Policy, Shipping Policy and other policies referenced on our website, form the terms governing your use of our store and purchases from us.
Nothing in this section limits rights provided to consumers by law.
21. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the United Kingdom, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply to you.
If you are a consumer living in England or Wales, you may bring legal proceedings in the courts of England and Wales.
If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also have the right to bring proceedings in the courts applicable to the part of the UK in which you live.
22. Fair and Transparent Terms
We intend these Terms to be fair, transparent and written in clear language.
If any provision conflicts with a mandatory right you have under UK consumer law, your statutory rights will take priority.
UK consumer contract terms must be fair and transparent, and unfair terms may not be enforceable.
23. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to our services, business practices or applicable law.
The latest version will be published on this page with the updated date.
Changes will not remove rights that have already arisen under an existing order or contract.
